Students
of any ability
are introduced
to the
fundamentals of
architectural
design.
Our
program focuses
on the
development of
spatial
reasoning, and
compositional
skills. It also
corresponds to a
student's
particular
interests.
By
creating
different
projects,
students will
learn to
transform
conceptual ideas
into spatial
realities and
discover how to
design their own
unique
expressive
structures.
The course
introduces
students to the
basics
of space
planning, the
history of
architecture,
the principles
of drawing,
painting,
composition and
sketches and the
elements of
architectural
science. This
class is
designed to give
students an
appreciation and
understanding of
architectural
masterpiece as
well as general
architecture.
ABOUT
THE TEACHER
Eugene
Tsarev’s
artistic career
began at a young
age. With a
broad interest
in art and
design he
explored
different
artistic avenues
by working
as a sketch
artist at
archeological
excavation sites
and also
attempting
interior design.
As his interest
in design
continued to
grow, Mr. Tsarev
decided to
enroll in the
Moscow State
Architectural
Academy while
simultaneously
continuing to
pursue his
studies as an
artistic
educator at the
School of Social
Professions.
After receiving
his diplomain
pedagogical
administration,
Mr. Tsarev also
graduated from
the Moscow State
Architectural
Academy in 1991.
Upon completing
his education,
Mr. Tsarev spent
the next four
years working as
an architectural
educator in
Kishinev,
capital of
Moldova. From
1996 to 2004 Mr.
Tsarev worked
part-time for
the Moscow State
Architectural
Academy by
conducting exam
preparation
classes for
students
pursuing
postsecondary
architectural
and art
education.
By 2003, he
completed thesis
and earned his
Doctorate Degree
in Architectural
Design.
