In 2001 the Barishev Art School first opened its doors to all those interested in understanding and creating art. Today, the Barishev Art School is dedicated to offering instructive and educational art classes to kids, teens and adults. The school's program is designed to accommodate students of all ages with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. This year our program includes subjects like Drawing, Painting, Composition, Art History and Animation. In the future, we are planning to enrich our program and offer new classes for children and adults.

At the Barishev Art School students work in a creative, studio-like environment under the attentive instruction of professional artists. Small class sizes ensure that each student receives personal attention from the teacher. Students are taught the fundamental concepts of drawing and painting such as composition, perspective, dimension, shading, color theory and more. With instructional guidance, students are able to apply these concepts and use them to develop their own personal style in order to create advanced works of art.

The school's productive and inspiring atmosphere encourages students to explore their imagination and express themselves creatively. With step-by-step instructions both experienced students and absolute beginners are able to increase their skill level and come to a deeper understanding of art.
